UCLA Health Named Official Medical Partner of Los Angeles Chargers & Presenting Partner of Chargers Training Camp

The partnership will include efforts to provide health care resources and awareness to the greater Los Angeles community.

The Los Angeles Chargers and UCLA Health have entered into a multi-year partnership that recruits UCLA Health as the Official Medical Assistant and Travel Training Camp Assistant.

As the Official Medical Partner for Defenders, UCLA Health will provide primary orthopedic and sports medicine care to the team. The partnership extends the naming rights for the Recharge Room, known as the “Recharge Room,” located within the team’s new state-of-the-art training facility, Bolt , El Segundo, CA.

During the partnership, the Chargers and UCLA Health will collaborate on efforts to provide health care resources and awareness to the greater Los Angeles community. The Chargers will work with UCLA Health to highlight healthcare workers as part of their Healthcare Heroes Program throughout the season through interactive experiences, dedicated displays and digital content pieces on the video board. .

A longtime highlight of the Chargers’ Community Relations efforts and something the players love so much, UCLA Health will host future hospital visits from some of the team’s biggest stars.
